This was a fast paced, fun-filled book that I was compelled to finish almost as soon as I began reading.
The author has a delightful feel for the characters which makes them easy to empathise with and follow their various emotions. It had me literally laughing aloud in parts while others had me reading frantically to resolve suspense. In one part my kindle case slipped shut leaving me horrified at the seconds it would take to find my page again, some old habits are hard to break.
I would definitely recommend this as a charming read and a steal at this price; I will certainly be keeping an eye out for future works by this author.

Absolutely loved this book! It was gripping and funny and had me staying up till two in the morning! I bought this because I love the authors fanfiction and wasn't disappointed. He version of Loki as great

This is a wonderful story and an absolute steal at $.99. It's well-written with fun and compelling characters. The author does a great job incorporating myths (Norse and otherwise) into the narrative, but never loses sight of the importance of a fun plot.

This is a fun read, it includes plenty of background for those not immersed in Norse mythology which will interest both those who are familiar with it, and those who are not. I enjoyed the interaction of the characters and the misinterpretation of their interactions between each other due to social differences of dark age Scandinavia and modern day America. The characters are very real and the story reads fast, a great read.

I really liked this book, it has plenty of action, and I enjoyed it. I was already to give it 5 stars, but a book should have a beginning, middle and end. This book has a begging, middle and STOPS. The author forgot the end. Now I know authors like to leave you wanting to read the next book, but they can find a decent stoping place. I think this author just got tired of writing. I won't be looking for the next book and won't recommend this book to my kindle group. The author changed the title from book one to part 1. Now it shows that this is the first part and it won't have an end, so I will give her the 5 stars she deserves for having a well written part 1 that i enjoyed.
