This book will give you a good overview of what to expect in Office 2010. Instructions and coloured images make it easy to read and understand.
However, I would have to recommend buying the Brilliant range of individual components for Office 2010 to get a more rounded view of each program and be able to use Excel, Word etc in more depth.

As anI.T.learner I am currently having lessons on Windows 7 and Office 2010 which I'm also running on my home computer which makes the book very useful as when I'm practising my lessons at home I can refer to the book to recover and explain information which has escaped down my brain drain since lessons.
As I'm not expected to read the book from start to finish the " jump in & out " feature is especially helpful as is the "Whats new" feature as these things can be confusing to a learner unless explained.My general opinion is "Brilliant Office 2010" is a well thought out and organised asset for beginner or expert. Well done Steve Johnson.

It seems very comprehensive but the diagrams are unreadable without a magnifying glass. That really kills it as far as I am concerned

A great book with everything (a tad heavy though)
A great book that covers almost everything of interest in a nice a clear manner. However, with all that info in one volume, the book is a tad heavy to handle.
