4.0 out of 5 stars Good advice 6 Nov 2009
I had not written a CV in quite some time and I looked at quite a few books before choosing this one. I liked this one as it is well laid out. The information is clearly signposted, which allowed me to flick through it very quickly to glean what I needed. It provided me with a good reminder of the essentials required for writing a good CV and I'm getting a good hit rate so far.

The book also contains plenty of examples and templates for readers to create their own perosnalised CV.

Great book and at the level it needs to be i.e. on the assumption you have at least some previous experience with CV writing.

So, using this book I rewrote my existing CV, appllied for several jobs, got an immediate interview and got the job, at double my previous salary! What more can I ask for!

I strongly reccommend this book!

Clearly not an expert, or I would not have bought the book. Some bits useful, but the credibility of it is called into question as soon as they show good examples in the 1st person!

A very informative book, goes through all aspects of producing a CV and how to present it to employer's, useful tips and examples. This book is useful if you are a beginner at CV design or if you already have one that needs a serious makeover.
