Fun History 9 Sep 2009

A fun way to tell history stories (a lot like Horrible Histories in the way it's presented). Great for age 5-8 to learn little lessons (and parents can learn some interesting and funny facts, too). I've bought Elizabeth 1st, Henry 8th, and Beatles versions of these books and love them all.

An excellent and easily accessible (for my 7 year-old daughter)overview of the life of Henry VIII with a lot of amusing anecdotes and excellent illustrations. Highly recommended.

Thumbs up from my son 1 July 2010
By Net
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
My 6 year old loves this and finds it interesting and fun. Historically it's pitched just about right to hold his attention without overwhelming him with what he would consider to be too much boring stuff. He has remembered and learnt loads from this small volume and I would recommend it as a first foray into this genre.
