4.0 out of 5 stars bit disappointing 10 Nov 2010
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I expected a better book on body language. I have a couple of books already, but I hoped that this new edition will provide something extra. Not really.
The book gives a good overview and some useful information, but if you have body language books already standing on your shelf, not really worth buying it unless you want to replace your books with one.

5.0 out of 5 stars very good book 26 Aug 2011
By SOS
Format:Paperback
I am not yet fininshed this book but I am well over half way into it. I have to say it is a very resourceful book and well worth a read if you are anyway interested in this subject matter. Nicely written and well put together. It gets the thumbs up from me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but not impressive 6 July 2011
By Jackson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
So far I have read nearly half the book and although most the information seems credible, it just comes off to me as unimpressive. Perhaps I was expecting too much from the book but apart from a few neat ideas most of it just seems like common sense. I suppose it's a nice read if you want an easy introduction and to apply a few things to everyday life but do not get it if you're expecting a thorough understanding of body language.
5.0 out of 5 stars Well reseached, structure and presented 13 Jan 2011
By GS - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a very helpful book in that it is structured in such a way so that you can go directly to your area of interest knowing that it is based on the latest academic research on the subject.

Whilst theoretically correct the book is very pragmatic and skills orientated to assist the reader develop competencies in the areas in which they may be weak or they might wish to strengthen.

For one's personal development this book is well worth the investment.
