Synopsis

The legendary French actress/singer/sex symbol performs over 30 songs, some taken from different broadcasts on French television from 1957 to 1974. Many of the tracks were written for her by her French pop idol Serge Gainsbourg, plus duets with Gainsbourg and Sacha Distel, including a number of previously unpublished performances. The remastered content includes stereo and 5.1 Surround sound.

Brigitte Bardot is actualy a good singer. Half the dvd is early footage in B/W, performing song/dance routines in a studio. The 2nd half is filmed in the late 1960^s in colour. She looks the way we all remember her to. Some good songs in studio and on location out and about in France. There^s also a short documentary by the director on the making of the second half, which is interesting. I would recommend it to any Bardot fans.

This DVD makes all its promises on the cover come true: "filmed for legendary tv-shows and selected for their artistic quality, emotional impact and special interest".

With useful information added, the quality of its pictures and sound is restored very well.
