My baby is really clingy and I would never be able to get a break unless I put her in the swing, where she will happily sit in it and fall asleep so I can get things done around the house.
It plays a ballerina type mellody which my eldest daughter likes too.

Bought that swing for our new born baby and tried to use it for last 3 weeks - I managed to put baby to sleep successfully only once.
Pros:
- God build quality - easy to assemble.
- Nice music
- 2x volume settings
- Timer options 15/30/45
- Good swing speeds
- Can fold - easy to store.
Cons:
- To deep profile of sitting - not comfortable for our new born - can not lay down flat.
- No batteries - in my opinion batteries could be AA type / or something re-chargeable.
- Changing swing speed quite loud click - can wake up baby.
- Music will go off after some time - even when timer is set for 45 minutes.
I would recommend it to a friend.

My baby loves to be rocked to sleep but it was really starting to get difficult holding him and rocking him when he was weighting a stone. So I done the sensible thing and bought a swing. This done the trick staright away and my little boy absolutely loves it. His eyes are always fixed on the little lion and the girafe and the music and gentle swing soothe him to sleep. This swing is ideal for first time parents.
