this is an absolute master piece and will change your life unless you're clinically depressed then i would try something more upbeat....
Seriously if you love ambient electronica and have a dark edge to your personality this is the cd for you; buy it, turn off all the lights turn up the volume and enter the realm of the disturbed. thats what i did and i am yet to recover!

this cd is a fantastic example of isolationist ambient, dark moody minimal landscapes, some sleepy, some nightmareish, a very good collection, a good workout for the ears and the mind. well worth it.

By far the weakest of the series, but still worth purchasing.
The tracks, particularly on disc 1, can be a bit heavy going and certainly do not feel all that ambient but they do inspire feelings of Isolationism. Job done I suppose. Close your eyes and imagine you are alone in some desolate wasteland with death imminent and you capture the mood of this compilation. Total contrast to the first 3 collections and easily the most downbeat. But, again, I would suggest this is the point.
Would not buy this were it a solitary collection, but felt obliged to purely because I have the rest and this was the last one to collect. All in all...good but not much more than that. 3/5.
