Not so much of a book of short stories, more a book of worlds you can get lost into for a short time. Each story takes you on a different journey like no other. There is none of the questions that can be sometimes left with a full novel, but also none of the slight disappointment you can get with short stories. The love felt with the giving of a glass heart and the craftiness of an old lady making sure love blossomed fills the reader with just the right amount of all that is desired. A perfect book for getting to know 3 wonderful writers and getting to know their individual way of writing.

Nell Dixon is an author whose work I've known and enjoyed for more than a year now, so when I saw her name headlining this at-the-time Amazon freebie, I jumped on it. Not only am I not disappointed, I'm delighted with getting to know Elizabeth Hanbury better and the introduction to Phillipa Ashley was delightful.

These are six quality stories by veteran romance writers, although not all the stories are romances. Think I saw a few typos in there, but honestly, I can't remember because my interest was on the stories and I barely noticed, thanks to the professional presentation. (But a table of contents would have been handy.) Now I just have to decide if my favorite story is Nell's A Weekend in Venice, Elizabeth's Miss Pattingham Requests, or Phillipa's Feast of Stefan. Or...

This anthology features six short stories by three amazing authors. The stories range from sweet to hot and from contemporary to historical. Each one is entertaining and delightful. When I finished, I only wished there was more to read!
