The importance of her print work in working out the future form of paintings is an under-appreciated aspect of Bridget Riley. Though they are used by her as preliminary studies, they stand alone in their own right very well. The reproduction quality in this book is excellent. The background to them is explored in short forward articles, but you don't glean much from them. Bridget Riley's work suffered critically in her earlier Op Art days for being unfashionable for being fashionable. Her current standing I think is still being diminished by this legacy, she is in my opinion in the top five living British artists.

Amazing book with good colour reproductions, lots of information about the artist. Exciting book for anyone interested in aspects of design, ideal inspiration for quilters, students, or anyone with an interest in one of the foremost artists who influenced all aspects of today's design.

Really nice quality and a good ( not giant coffee table) sensible size. Delivered quickly and given as a present to someone who is a Riley enthusiast which went down very well.

Beautiful Catalogue raisonné of Miss Rileys' prints. In my estimation, an very important and under-appreciated artist, synonymous with "op."

good as a reference, but i'd rather have it be in poster form. why can't the people who publish this book publish some inexpensive prints of the works?
