This is without a doubt my favourite of Hugh Grant's films. His character is not the most likeable guy but (in a reversal of what I have always felt he's done) he made me like him. The same goes for all the other characters too though, none of them are exceptional people, but as you get to know them, through the book or the film, you see how exceptional they actually are.
The story is lovely, the soundtrack is great and the book is so 'Nick Hornby'. If you haven't experienced any one of these three great items you're missing out.
