About the Author
Joe Berger has been drawing for as long as he can remember. He grew up loving books and the thought of giving children the same excitement he felt from reading is a huge part of his inspiration. He has a background in animation and illustrates a weekly comic strip in the Guardian. He now lives in Bristol with his wife and three daughters. Bridget Fidget is his first book for children.

Our children (6 and 4) love this book. It is beautifully drawn and fun to read out loud, the language is accessible and energetic - an immediate classic.

That is what this household wants to know. My 4 year old loves this book and I enjoy reading it to her. The character is fun, the story is funny, the artwork is fab...all round a terrific childrens classic.

We've had this book out on loan from the library and now have to buy it, it is super. Great illustrations, simple but very funny dialogue (both my 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 yr olds can recite the whole thing) and perfect length for a swift bedtime. We'll be buying it for many 2009 birthdays.Highly recommended.
