Frances and Michael Howorth have jointly written training manuals and technical reports for the large yacht industry. Michael is qualified to command yachts up to 3000 tons and Frances is a Professional Yachtmaster.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is thinking of taking their Officer of the Watch or Maters exams and orals.
This is a reference book for anyone interested in working at sea in the deck department.
although this book is directed towards the deck department it also covers a few things that involve the engineering departments.
