DVD Description

Universal Pictures and producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) invite you to experience Bridesmaids. Kristen Wiig leads the cast as Annie, a maid of honour whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony.

Annie’s life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian’s maid of honour. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she’ll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you’ll go for someone you love.

Women behaving badly 16 Nov 2011
By Mr. R. W. Graham VINE™ VOICE
Format:Blu-ray
Bridesmaids is perhaps not a film for the easily offended. It's lewd, rude and crude but also very funny with a great cast. A bit slow in places and perhaps a bit too long, Bridesmaids could have easily been done in an hour and a half but this is still a very funny movie. Kristin Wigg, perhaps one of the funniest women in hollywood at the moment and Damages and X Men First Class' Rose Byrne lead a fine ensemble cast who gather together to give their friend a big send off and hen night before her big wedding. Yes it's not exactly original and feels like The Hangover with women but it's well written and made and well worth a watch.

There has not been too many great comedies this last year but the ones we have had have been very hit and miss, this by far is a massive HIT, a very funny and brilliantly written comedy with an amazing cast of some of the worlds funniest comedy actresses, this is two hours of total hilarity and at the same time a beautiful story, this film is miles better than the hangover 2, a very unique stylish film thats certainly worth a watch, money well spent.

Haha funniest film I've seen in a long time! I like this DVD set because of the digital and normal copies as well! Not overly priced either which is refreshing. Well worth it! Good buy.
