That is, until these are spotted poking over the top of her dress. So spotted by Jack - the most ruggedly attractive man Evie has ever laid eyes on. Evie is twenty-seven; a sparkly, down-to-earth journalist. She has never been in love and has started to fret that she never will be. Small wonder, then, that the prospect of being bridesmaid at no less than three impending weddings is one that fills her with trepidation. Things get worse when Evie learns that Jack is her friend Valentina's date. Valentina is beautiful, shallow and self-obsessed. Her dates tend to be mirror-images. Which can mean only one thing: Jack can't possibly be as good as he seems.But as they sit together talking late into the night, Evie finds herself yearning to believe he's all real.

The first book by a wonderful author. I found this book absolutly hilarious, not only the actions of our heroine but the way she was written and the sence of humor she was given. If you love a good wedding you'll love this book, a real girly, by-the-sea read. So make sure you pick up a copy for you hols!!!

Just finished reading this book and it was absolutely fabulous took me 2 days to finish. I would highly recommend this to everyone!
It made me laugh in places and also brought a tear to my eye ( but i am probably a one off when it comes to the crying part I cry at anything)!!!
Can't wait for her next book but I will have to because it doesn't come out until next year!

I thought this book was a hilarious - I loved the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella and was looking for something similar. I literally had tears running down my face on the train home yesterday - appeals to my sense of humour. Very easy to read and the very small chapters mean you just can't put it down - highly recommended :-)
