Product Description

Product Description

This hip illustrated guide outlines everything you need to know about filling the role of bridesmaid - how to host a truly original hen party, wear the bridesmaid dress with panache and style, and most importantly, support the bride in every imaginable way. With good humour, veteran bridesmaid Kate Chynoweth covers the history of the bridesmaid, the etiquette and charm required to play the part, and countless tips for making the day run as smoothly as possible.

About the Author

Kate Chynoweth, an experienced bridesmaid, dearly loves her married friends despite the dresses they have forced her to wear. She writes for lifestyle and entertainment magazines, and has a lucrative sideline career as a freelance Maid of Honor. She lives in Seattle. Neryl Walker studied Graphic Design which evolved into a career in illustration. Her work is most prominently featured on Bloom Cosmetics packaging and she contributes to numerous magazines and books in Australia, the United States and Europe. Neryl also exhibits her paintings regularly. Twice a bridesmaid, she was recently married (without a hitch) in New York City where she currently resides.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love this! Ideal for older bridesmaids, 22 Feb 2009
By J. Price (Essex, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Brought this for my (soon to be) sister in law and thought it was a lovely book. Was slightly uncomfortable with the suggestions of how much to spend on the bride for a present/bridal shower/'don't expect the bride to pay for your outfit' as I didn't want her to think I was hinting! Everything is quoted in dollars but found this book a lovely way to get the bridesmaids excited about the proceedings!
