5.0 out of 5 stars A Bride Until Midnight 20 April 2011

Sandra Steffen's books are so much fun and full of adventure. I really enjoyed A Bride Until Midnight - the next book following the Wedding Gift. The characters are so much fun and offer some challenging situation, just enought to keep it interesting. Easy and quick read - great for a rainy afternoon or a day at the beach.
5.0 out of 5 stars Dialogue for Intelligent Readers 13 July 2011
By thirty3na3rd - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Not to say that other, similar books are for "unintelligent" readers, but Steffen's novels are both familiar in the way they read - with comfortably-paced plot progressions and character dialogue - but they actually appeal to (gasp) the intelligent, discriminating romance novel reader with a more complex, thought-filled tapestry of dialogue and plot development. "A Bride Until Midnight" is a shining example of Steffen's appeal to the romance novel fan with a plot that evolves at a much higher level and leaves the reader with an exhilarated sense of having read something of greater substance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Investigative Journalist vs. Keeper of Secrets 20 April 2011
By Carrie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
The relationship between the two main characters Kyle and Summer is dynamic, interesting and keeps you guessing. Kyle is an investigative journalist in town for his brother's (quickly planned) wedding. Summer is the local inn-keeper with a secret past. She tries to stay away, but the attraction is too much for them both. It's a page turner to find out if he figures her out or if she spills the beans. There are other fun characters with plot twists too. Highly recommend!

1.0 out of 5 stars A Bride Until Midnight 17 April 2011
By The Spoiler - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Verified Purchase
I don't know what Halequin offered you Sandra, but please go back to writing novels like 317 Beulah Street, Just Between Friends just to name a couple. This boom is beneath your ability. I've been waiting patiently forever for you to come back from wherever you've been and this is how you reward me. Shame, shame, shame.
