5.0 out of 5 stars Three great reads 25 Mar. 2013
By Laura TOP 100 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have always read Mills and Boon books but since buying a Kindle, they have taken a back seat whilst I read all the new ebooks available.

Having come across this Special Release, I snapped it up at 99p for 3 stories. I expected that I may have read some of these stories before seeing as they range from 1998 - 2005 but I was pleased to find they were new reads to me and I enjoyed each one although 'The Purchased Wife' was my favourite. Each story features a Greek hero.

The Tycoons Bride - When Claire Stenson met Andreas Markopoulou she was desperate, trying to look after her baby sister alone. He offered to marry Claire and adopt Melanie. But it seems Andreas wasn't quite the answer to her prayers - he was certainly prepared to deceive his new bride!

Good story but I missed the fact the Greek hero used none of the normal greek endearments such as 'agape mou'. The hero also didn't let his accent slip when he was upset or angry! The hero was not as alpha male in this story but still enjoyable (4/5).

The Purchased Wife - Xander Pascalis has bought himself a wife! Helen is lavishly expensive but headstrong and refusing to share his bed! So Xander carries her off to his private Greek island to get the wedding night she's so far denied him...

I loved this story. An alpha male hero, a heroine that gives as good as she gets and the required greek endearments and the slip up in his accent when he loses control! (5/5).

The Price of The Bride - Mia Frazier agreed to her father's demand that she marry Greek millionaire Alexander Doumas for her own reasons - not money! Alex won back his family island, Mia's father would get a grandson, but could Mia's motive stay hidden now she was carrying Alex's child?

Another good story and another strong alpha male hero. (4/5).

I have always been a fan of Michelle Reid's stories and these three were an excellent choice to showcase her talent.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good stories, great value 2 April 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I liked all of these stories, there was a bit more bite to them that the standard M&S. Good strong alpha males and feisty heroines - what's not to like. The first story probably had the best storyline - really quite a convoluted plot and I did wonder at one point why the hero was so interested so quickly - however all was soon revealed. Great value and the three stories worked well together. Last heronine did get on my nerves a bit by referring to herself as a "whore" - just didn't sit right and really started to grate. Other than that would highly recommend for a couple of hours escapism.

The three stories I have read are simply the same tales. A Greek Godlike lover, a pretty plot, a loads of pornographic description of their sex lives. Read more
