This cd should feature in any rock and/or metal fans collection. The tracks are consistently good - from the obvious hits such as "Pretend we're Dead" and "Everglade" right along to the less well known songs like "Scrap". If you have ever had that feeling that people are picking on you or that everyone is against you, then you need to sing along to "Shitlist" and put your life back into perspective! Despite songs like that; the album does have some depth and makes a political comment with its opening track "Wargasm" which will please the more serious minded among you. Whilst it is mostly cool for singing and driving to (nb. keep an eye on your speed if you do this!); there are moments of emotion - mostly notable in the more melodic "One More Thing", which is my personal favourite. If you like Hole, and especially "Live Through This" then this album is for you. There are similarities between the two singers styles, although Courtney Love and Hole have a much greater range and variety in their music than perhaps L7 do.
