The VHG009 offers 2 kilowatts (kW) of grilling power and has a large cooking area--710 centimetres (cm)²--to help accommodate plenty of food all at once. It has a variable temperature digital control so you can decide how hot to cook your food, the digital controls and display making it easy to read ensuring precise and accurate cooking.

Monitor the progress of your food with the countdown feature and seal in flavour and moisture thanks to the Sear function which rapidly heats the food for 30 seconds for an intense burst of cooking power. The healthy grill is designed with non-stick, easy-clean plates and the drip tray, which collects any unwanted fat during cooking, is removable to help with the post-meal clean-up. And the VHG009 comes complete with a collection of Antony's favourite recipes to inspire you in the kitchen.

On paper seemed like a good idea. Heats up quickly and does what it claims to do. Sear function is good.
However the easy clean plates are a nightmare and took ages to clean. They don't detach and the slope towards the drip tray is insufficient to drain water and suds away. The adjustable hinge doesn't adjust enough either. I was very disappointed.

within minute grill gets hot. easy to clean, you can set lots of different temperature, made panini and grilled chicken it was spot on. its a great buy no looking back £40 for the new grill which im proud to say i got a bargain for product like this worth way more.
