The Breville VTT214 two slot two slice polished stainless steel toaster is a sleek and smart addition to any kitchen boasting a number of helpful features. It has variable browning control allowing you to choose how dark or light you like your toast and variable width slots allowing breads of various thicknesses to be fully toasted. So whether it's a small slice or something a bit bulkier, all sizes are properly accommodated. And this control is chrome-plated with blue illumination for extra kitchen style. Features include a reheat button, which brings cooled toast back up to temperature without burning it; a defrost button, which automatically lengthens the toasting time to allow for the defrosting of frozen bread; and a mid-cycle cancel button, allowing you to stop the toasting process as and when you want. Remove smaller items without burning your fingers, thanks to the extra-high lift. The lift raises the bread carriage for easier access. And keep crumb mess to a minimum with the removable crumb tray. This collects any crumbs that may fall from the bread as you toast it. The VTT214 is also fitted with illuminated blue buttons for easy use, stylish sloped breading slots, cord storage and a non-slip base.

got it to replace a much dearer one i had bought in the january sales with a well known chefs name on it it was complete rubbish it only toasted 3/4 of the slice and drove my husband mad so to stop all the moaning in the morning i bought the brevillr toaster peace at last thanyou would recommend it to my friends

this toaster is robustly built, very sylish and well constructed, solidly built. and most importantly gives a really even brown to the bread on both sides, it even takes a good sized slice of bread. really pleased and would recommend it as a purchase. when i need another i will come back to breville

The toaster has wide sections for taking thick or thin sliced bread and has buttons for regulating to light or dark toast, also the price is cheap and for a brand name is exception value. There are no frills with this toaster but for simply nice toast it is just the job!
