The Breville VTT206 four slot four slice polished stainless steel toaster is a sleek and smart addition to any kitchen boasting a number of helpful features. It has variable width slots allowing breads of various thicknesses to be fully toasted, so whether it's a small slice or something a bit bulkier--all sizes are properly accommodated. And it has two variable chrome-plated browning controls allowing you to choose how dark or light you like your toast and with one control per two slices, you can your toast four slices to two different preferences. Features include a reheat button which brings cooled toast back up to temperature without burning it; a defrost button which automatically lengthens the toasting time to allow for the defrosting of frozen bread and a mid-cycle cancel button allowing you to stop the toasting process as and when you want to. Remove smaller items without burning your fingers thanks to the extra-high lift which raises the bread carriages for easier access. And keep crumb mess to a minimum with the removable twin crumb trays which collects any crumbs that may fall from the bread as you toast it. The VTT206 is also fitted with illuminated blue buttons for easy use, stylish sloped breading slots, cord storage and a non-slip base.

excellent toaster - good wide slots for thick sliced bread, baps,bagels etc. also looks very well on worktop. Delighted with purchase and price and would recommend this is anyone especially those with children who are in a rush to get out in the morning the four slices are very handy!!

This toaster is so simple to use for 2 or 4 slices. Has width adjustments but sometimes still doesn't quite reach the end crust if you're toasting a long piece of bread- but this wouldn't put me off recommending it. Serves great toast-yum!

This toaster looks great and has some good features. However I found the setting dials (at the bottom of the front) difficult to use because it is almost impossible to see what setting you are making. There is a groove in the dial that can be located by touch but it would make it so much easier if each dial had a white dot or line. The bread size capacity was also a little disappointing in that the slot would not accomodate 'bloomer' slices and the height would not accomodate a standard loaf slice without leaving an un-toasted top. It did however accept quite thick sliced bread and crumpets although the crumpets could not be raised high enough to retrieve them from the toaster without 'digging' for them with an implement (unfortunately no other option unless you turn the toaster upsidedown). The most disappointing feature however was the toasting disparity between each side of the slice no matter which slot you use. With one side toasted perfectly, the other side was still white which necessitates reducing the setting and double toasting, turning the toast half way through. The toast thus achieved is then excellent.

Overall not a bad buy.
This toaster is good for looks but has a few niggling problems.
1. Takes too long to toast
2 if crumpets are being toated they tend to jam after toasting.

Good toaster

very good value
very good value for money. Nice wide slots for chunky cuts of bread. Would recomend it to anyone who likes a good thick slice of toast and browns well.
