Lovely looking toaster with all the bells and whistles you would need (especially as i managed to get it off amazon at around half rrp).

The only irritation is that the plug cable is very short. Its a really small thing but quite annoying. i cant plug it in, in certain places in my kitchen. I have no idea why they would design it like this. If you can put up with it, its a good buy

This is the third toaster I have bought in the last year, various brands and stores. The first two were returned as there seems to be a common problem with all toasters at the present, the filaments only glow red on one side, so your bread toasts unevenly.

Well this one is no different! Also the browning control has to be on at least no. 4 to get medium coloured toast. I wish someone would get their finger out and develope a toaster that toasts! Is it so much to ask?

Two things in it's favour, it is very steady on it's feet and doesn't tip towards you when engaging like some do, and it has nice blue lights on it.
NB The black casing is actually more of a dark grey, which I didn't realise until I put it next to my other (black) kitchen accessories.
