I bought this kettle for my grandmother as she has difficulty holding anything heavy, it is ideal as it is light weight and has the extra security for hard of hearing people as it lights up blue when switched on so that she is aware when it has boiled. great item, great price!!

For anyone looking for a kettle that is lightweight when empty, boils rapidly, easy to see when boiling (blue light) and the water level is clearly visible, this is the kettle for you - and it is a good price.

We wanted a quiet kettle and all the large ones appear to be 3Kw so we tried this small 1 ltr kettle which is only 1.5Kw and it is very quiet. It takes a little longer to boil but is a more practical size. How often do you need more than 1 litre of boiling water? It has a pop up lid button which is very handy for emptying and filling and it is easy to lift when full. The blue light is a nice touch too.
