I had my old Breville 4 slice sandwich toaster since the 80's with no problem. When I moved I chucked it but it was only boxing day that I decided to get a new one.

This is great, the plates are deep and it cuts. I did buy a cheap version a year ago but it was rubbish and the toasties fell apart before you managed to eat it. No such problem with this.

Toasties are a great, fast and easy snack that never go out of fashion. Breville toasters are in my view the best you can buy.

The Breville TR47 works really well as our old sandwich toaster was acting up we decided to try this model, glad we did it really does make excellent toasty sandwiches, very happy with ideal for when you fancy 2 each

Unbelievable this might be.... but this makes toasted sandwiches. Switch it on, let it heat up, and put them in. Eat after letting cool down - "Vesuvius sandwiches" were always famed for managing to take a layer of skin off your mouth. Job done.
