I don't get the other two reviews. This kettle is light, fast, quiet and a HUGE improvement on a much more expensive Kenwood which was so heavy I was having trouble lifting it [and it kept blowing the fuse}. This is also easy to fill and pours well.

Breville JK29 White Illuminator Kettle Bought this kettle some time back, not from Amazon. It is awful. When filled above the 2 cup mark it never stops boiling, you have to turn it off manually. When you refill it afterwards the residue of hot water cascades down the handle from what they call a steam spout! Very dangerous. Returned to shop and had a refund. Shop put a big sticker on kettle explaining all this, but don't know if they reported it to Breville. I would never buy this sort of kettle again.

... and that's it really. Feels very heavy and bulky to hold, but works fine.
