Although this kettle looks stylish, i would advise against you spending your money. It makes a terrific noise when boiling - so loud you can't hear the radio. The flip lid stopped working after 3 months. At the end of the day a kettle is a kettle and there are much cheaper, quieter ones on the market. I bought this with the matching toaster which is just as much of a disappointment.
