Product Description

Product Description

The Breville TT33 Café series four slot four slice toaster is a sleek and smart addition to any kitchen boasting a number of helpful features. It has variable width slots allowing breads of various thicknesses to be fully toasted, so whether it's a small slice or something a bit bulkier--all sizes are properly accommodated. And it has two variable browning controls allowing you to choose how dark or light you like your toast and with one control per two slices, you can your toast four slices to two different preferences. Features include a crumpet function which maintains the chosen heat on one side but reduces it on the other which is also suitable for bagels; a reheat button which brings cooled toast back up to temperature without burning it; a defrost button which automatically lengthens the toasting time to allow for the defrosting of frozen bread and a mid-cycle cancel button allowing you to stop the toasting process as and when you want to. Remove smaller items without burning your fingers thanks to the extra-high lift which raises the bread carriages for easier access. And keep crumb mess to a minimum with the removable crumb tray which collects any crumbs that may fall from the bread as you toast it. The TT33 is made from heavy-duty die-cast aluminium with a stylish stainless steel finish and is also fitted with extra-deep toasting slots, cord storage and a non-slip base.

Nobody would think that buying a toaster could be so stressful! We wanted a good quality, heavy duty toaster to churn out slice after slice for our hungry family. After much deliberating we decided to spend £165 on the Magimix 4 slice toaster. Naturally you think that more money = better performance. Not always it seems. We returned the Magimix 3 times as each time we experienced different problems with it. Finally we gave up and looked for an alternative. This Breville was a compromise, no warming rack, 4 short slots insteas of 2 long ones, etc, but it turns out beautifully golden, evenly toasted toast with a moist soft centre time after time. Job Done! and for half the price.

Having had 2 toasters which leave a bit of the slice sticking out of the top I have found one that works and toasts the whole slice.
    Great toaster, Buy it

We were looking for a good quality toaster built to last, so firstly we fell for the hype and purchased a Dualit...what a joke! the quality was bad and so was the toast! we then found the Breville, it looked great and the few reviews we read were good, so we went for it. Wow it's big, were our first thoughts, but that was not a problem, the build quality was great and it toasts evenly and to the same brownness each and every time I find I do need to turn it down when I am toasting 4 slices e.g. for 2 slices I go for No3 setting but with 4 slices, I'll set both sides at No2. We've had the toaster for about 6 months now and are very happy with it.

As someone who actually enjoys researching products before buying, I'd been really struggling to find a good quality toaster that both looks good and does a good job at toasting. Also considered the Dualit and Magimix brands as well as a number of others. Absolutely delighted with this one. Looks great and feels very well made. Toasts very evenly across the whole slice on both sides. Can accomodate large tall and thick slices of bread. I accept that it may be a touch slower than some toasters but expect this is one of the reasons behind the toast it produces being so good - often cooking at a more measured pace rather than blasting produces a better outcome. It is obviously a big toaster, and I was worried that it would dominate the corner of our kitchen worktop surface, but actually looks smaller than I expected. Delighted.

In total contrast to the matching kettle, this is an excellent toaster, well made and toasts all slices uniformly. This review comes after having this for 18 months in a family of four of two adults and two teenagers.

Nice construction - feels solid, but why does such a large device have such relatively shallow slots for the bread?
A slice of bread from a shop bought loaf sticks out of the top and only the lower 70% gets toasted! This thing is probably 20% bigger than our previous Breville toaster - with such a huge device, you'd think they could manage to heat the entire slice!

I have been through more toasters than I care to think about over the last 5 years- and the last one- a Morphy Richards- was expensive and rubbish. But this Breville toaster works great on both toast and bagels. The settings are easy to use and you can pinpoint exactly how brown you would like your toast. We set ours for 3.5 for toast and 3 for bagels. Whilst it may be a little more expensive than most, it is worth the money as it is sturdy and reliable.

Took two other toasters back because of uneven toasting. This toaster is well worth the price and no complaints from all the family.Looks solid and likely to last.I didn't realise it was so difficult to get a good toaster but it is a little slow in operation.
