Format:Map
This is at a scale of 1:200000 (1cm to 2km) and shows all of the smaller unclassified roads between the villages. There are maps on both sides of the paper. The maps are clear and easy to use. There is a good place index although the grid squares are large so it can take a time to find the smaller settlements.
Attractions (Churches, Chateaux, ancient remains etc) are marked on the map by symbols.
There is table showing distances and driving times between major settlements.
The map is a bit big and we have strengthened the corners with clear sticky tape to stop them tearing.

This map is full of tiny details and helps you find loads of things missed on other maps. Well done Michelin man.

Format:Map
For some bizarre reason, this map uses a totally different numbering system for marking motorway exits, which bears no relation to the actual system used on the motorway signage. On top of that, we found many villages weren't marked, and some junction layouts weren't portrayed well at all. This is contrary to reviews I'd read that lauded the amount of detail to be found on this
map. All-in-all, I actually felt that this map lacks detail, and I was very surprised about that since I expected Michelin to be best able to produce a fine map of the region.
Wished I'd gone with AA instead, but since that seems to be flawed also, perhaps both would have been the safest bet. Strange that there isn't more choice available on Amazon.
