A Breil gents stainless steel round watch. The green analogue dial comes with 3 hands and a date window. There are numerical hour markers incoporated on the dial. The strap is made from a black resin. Ideally sized for everyday wear with a case size of 39mm. Water resistant to 50 metres.

I bought this one in one of Amazon's special offers and was just looking for a simple, good looking but reasonably unique piece. This ticks all of those boxes.
The face is quite large and very legible, and the red highlighted hands against a predominantly green background are very clearly seen as well. The face is of a pretty unusual design, which adds to the attraction, however the colours would fool you into thinking that it is luminous in the dark, which it is not. The only functional adornment over and above the obligatory three hands is a date display at half past four which, again, is clearly visible.
The adjustment knob is very substantial, so those with a bunch of bananas or pork sausages for fingers, like me, should have no problems with it. It is a two position action giving you date adjustment (it is not programmable for odd months or leap years) at the first and time at the second.
I am not a great fan of 'rubber' wrist straps but I like this one, it is attractive looking and pretty comfortable as well. When viewed from the top it does look as though it is built into the watch, which is a testament to the design and engineering of the piece, but when you look from underneath, you can clearly see a pair of standard pins so, should the strap wear or break, replacing it with either an original, if available, or possibly a nice leather one should not prove a problem.
All round, a nice watch and I am very happy with it.

I own a similar-looking Breil TW0450 which I've had for a year now. I love everything about it. So while looking for a watch as a present for my dad, I was delighted to see this at like a third of the price of my Breil. The shape of the lug looks the same as the TW0450 and the design of the dial isn't that different... I was just a little disappointed coz the size of its lug is a little smaller than TW0450. Nonetheless, it still very nice to look at. My dad is very happy with it.

I too have just recieved this watch bought in a Black Friday deal, mine doesn't work either, I have asked for an exchange, so we will see if the next one works....having read the other comments, I am not holding out much hope.
