Amazon has given a very decent summary of this tale, and I don't begrudge paying for it, as it was hot, sexy, a decent length, and had a decent, if sometimes, not that clear, storyline. However, it had simple grammatical mistakes (wrong verb tenses, wrong pronouns, lack of punctuation that totally changed the meaning of a couple of bits), and a BIG inaccuracy.
I found the grammatical bits irritating, as those could have been fixed with the use of a decent editor, but what totally threw me, to the degree that I had to go back and 1) read the summary of the tale again and 2) go back and read the first 3 pages is that when the leads get it on, finally, she is meant to be a virgin, with much mention of what his taking of her involves, to put it delicately, and another time, he apparently has to teach her about oral sex, as she says she has never done it. Well, I did go back and check and in the summary, it says nothing about menage scenes in the tale i.e. this is a straight M/F tale, yet the opening paragraph is not only a menage scene with two royal guards, but she is performing oral sex on one, whilst the other is having sex with her. SO, how we are meant to believe the later scenes is beyond me. I did also go back and check that she wasn't fantasising/daydreaming, but no, she was present and participating in the act. Pretty unforgiveable plotline error, IMHO, which did detract from the tale.
Would I read another from this author? Yes, at the same minimal price that I paid for this one, but the other three in this series are too expensive, so I won't be bothering.
