I first heard this on 6 Music. While I have the album Immunity by Jon, this track on the album is a delicate, subtle blend of atmospheric electronic and electrical (buzz), and this release with Purity Ring creates a new work, transforming the original atmospheric track. The vocal is beautiful, and the beats added send the music to a different place. This release to the original title are a wonderful contrast. It is rare that a "track featuring" is transformed so wonderfully that its not a matter of which is best, as to treating both as excellent in their own right. Jon Hopkins is not for everyone, its is largely electronic without vocal, this track bridges that. Treat your ears !

A fine tune from the Immunity album ruined by a simpering, pointless vocal line. Seek out the original and enjoy the ride.
