Product Description

Synopsis

This book is a 'bible' of self-help and hope for those who find themselves unfortunate enough to be suffering from ill health and disease. The author, who found himself in this situation with a terrible lung disease, and whose condition was made worse by conventional medical treatments, set off on a road of discovery and self help. The book catalogues his own successful treatment and details the many people who have been helped, and the treatments used to help them, ranging from cancer(and other dread diseases) to infertility. Written in a narrative style, it is interesting, informative and amusing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gerald Green's Breaking Through The Untouchable Diseases, 29 Aug 2008
Breaking Through The Untouchable Diseases is an extremely well written book. Gerald's passion and dedication, together with his extensive knowledge and understanding of autoimmune diseases, and herbal remedies are all clearly evident throughout, and his well-documented results speak for themselves. The foreword is written by Jo Wood (married to Rolling Stones Ronnie). To quote her final paragraph `This book will walk you towards Shangri La, and I strongly suggest you let it take you on your way'. This book clearly does just that. Highly recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Breaking through the untouchable diseases, 28 April 2009
By N. Burke (Ireland) - See all my reviews

I've read alot of literature about the links between inflammatory disorders, auto immunity and increased gut permeability so this book really made alot of sense to me. It was really positive to see how much success he has had with his patients which include cancer. Although the book was very encouraging I feel if you wanted to follow a similar program for recovery you would need to visit a herbalist yourself. It was difficult to locate in the book the exact treatments he used in each chapter and he didn't give any dosages. He didn't mention about visiting a herbalist and I think this is very important as people should not be self prescribing themselves herbal treatments. Over all the book was short and easy to read so I would recommend it to some one looking for encouragement but for a recovery program there are other better books such as Erica White's 'beat candida cookbook' which includes day by day meal plans and even a weekly shopping list of ingredients to purchase. The beginning of the book has a really clear explanation of Candida so this would be perfect to purchase along with Gerald Green's one. 5.0 out of 5 stars Helping to beat MS, 8 Jul 2009
By Mr. David R. Holder (Hampshire UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is a must if you want to help yourself, my wife was diagnosed with MS in 1991,and through the NHS had little help or hope, when finally being turned down for treatment due to funding we were desperate to find our own self help. Someone recommended Gerald Green, we visited him and started his regime, since then we have had our problems but not as severe as they would have been. This book re-affirms all of Gerald's good work, and gives all those fellow sufferers a means of hope. Following the regime is not easy, but nor is living with MS. It takes time to adapt , and to sort out the bad foods from the good foods, but with Gerald's Book, his experience and his care and strong motivation you can win through. We would urge anyone who is in a similar position to get this book, read it carefully and give it a try. You are after all free to look after yourself. We see this book as a chance for life again.
