Being a long term fan of Melissa Etheridge I have always been drawn to her more powerful thrashing chord songs from albums like "Never Enough" and "Brave and Crazy". These Albums always had a good balance of heavier tracks and beatifully crafted slow ballads, this album however leans much more to the latter and I can only assume that it was a reflection of her personal life at the time of writing (she has had a turbulent,unlucky love life)but boy its paid off.Snuggle up on the sofa, throw another log on the fire and enjoy. Absolutely gorgeous.

Melissa Etheridge knows how to write fantastic lyrics, strong music, and unforgetable sentiment. This album starts of well and hooks you immediately. There are strong parts of the album that makes the listener reflect on their own experiences through her music. How does she do it? In her own words....she must be "Stronger than me".

Melissa has come back with yet another thought provoking album of well crafted songs that get inside your head. Many of the songs feel as though she has written them just for you. She remains her own person and long may she continue to do so highly recommended as are all her albums.
