Being a long term fan of Melissa Etheridge I have always been drawn to her more powerful thrashing chord songs from albums like "Never Enough" and "Brave and Crazy". These Albums always had a good balance of heavier tracks and beatifully crafted slow ballads, this album however leans much more to the latter and I can only assume that it was a reflection of her personal life at the time of writing (she has had a turbulent, unlucky love life)but boy its paid off.Snuggle up on the sofa, throw another log on the fire and enjoy. Absolutely gorgeous.
