I am stuck for a while in tatty chalet in a caravan park. My wife and I can't do without home made bread. Does anyone have any experience of cooking bread in this thing - or any other small oven?
HI, i've made bread in my halogen oven. I use my normal recipe and a 2lb loaf tin. I bake it on 200 with the extender ring and after about 15 mins I cover it with foil so the top of the loaf doesn't burn. After about 35 mins I take it out of the tin and pop it back in the halogen for about 5-10 mins turning the loaf on both sides and upside down. Result - a perfect loaf.

Yes it's possible but why not get a bread-maker. Which is wonderful. We can set it so it bakes the bread for 6:00 am I get up at 6:15. By the time I leave the house at 8:30 the wife and I have eaten the full 750g loaf (also makes 900g). Hence we do not us it that often. Tesco's £24 I think.
