Mistake 29 April 2007
Format:DVD
If this actually was series 3 and 4 like it says on the box then this would definatly get five stars. However it is only series 3. There are no series 4 episodes on this at all. However, this also means that they can no longer bring out any more series because they would have to lie about what series it was. For instance, if they were to continue the two series per DVD thing, then series 4 would become the complete series 5 and 6, series 5 would be series 7 and 8. And there was only 7 series to begin with.

Why didn't they just put the complete series 3 on the box instead and then release series 4, 5, 6 and 7. Im sure it would have been much more appreciated (Pardon my spelling)

The Boswells are back up to their scullduggery and extracting every penny they can from the DSS (in those days DHSS). The head of the family, staunch Catholic mother, Nellie Boswell, with her 5 children, the super cool, leather clad Joey with a mobile phone the size of a house, our Jack the antiques dealer ducking and diving and, not always successful, wheeler dealing, our Aveline and her modelling, our Adrian the redundant estate agent and our "I'm not ready for all this" Billy with his wife, Julie, and baby, Francesca, and his clapped out VW Beatle.

Peter Howitt, long before he wrote/directed Sliding Doors and several other Hollywood hits, is by far the best Joey, the series definitely lost a lot when him and Gilly Coman (the original Aveline) left. Yes, this is actually not what it says on the box, it's only series 3 but it's hillariously funny as ever it was and, for me, that's what matters. Let's hope Playback sort themselves out and release series 4-7 sometime soon.

What the...
I am also incensed that the advertised series 3 and 4 is only series 3. It is such a good, funny series, it is a shame that people are being misled when they are buying the DVD.
