When Tony Palmero meets Arthur Miller, he thinks he's found the perfect acquaintance. Miller is a man whose innocence seems to be akin to what one would find in a 1950's sitcom. Palmero sees an easy opportunity to transport a significant drug haul from Miami by using the overly-trusting Miller. In Palmero, Miller sees a true friend that he bonded with over warm sourdough bread and stories of a well-loved grandmother. Overall, "Bread of Life" is a story about two people from very different backgrounds coming together and impacting each other in an unexpected way. It's an excellent 15-20 minute read.
