When I bought this product, I was a bit wary.
Having read a few reviews that warned about the fragility of the pencil, I wasn't sure what to expect. Then there was the disclaimer on the box that excluded returns due to a broken pencil.
I've used the caustic pencil a few times now, and it works wonderfully.
It does exactly what it says. It's nice and easy to use.
So I'm currently wondering why so many people complain about a broken tip.
It is, because they just don't read the instructions leaflet properly? You do not need to apply any pressure at all when using the pencil. And if you do not apply any pressure, then it will not break.
So, am I just incredibly lucky? Or are some people are just incapable to follow instructions and think they know better, then whine and try to blame the manufacturer for messing up? I don't know.
What I know is that I can really recommend this product. It works.
Just a word of warning though: Caustic pencils are not to be messed with. You can seriously hurt yourself if you use it wrong. If you're unsure, you better see your podologist.
