This is a marvelous book that tells a story of a great man, proud of his country and his adventures during
war times. It is written with a grasp of history that keeps you interested. Fascinating read. A super gift for
anyone interested in history and the battle of war times.

This book would be fantastic if the story of how he earned the medals was explained, as it is written the book is more about the officer and his family. Someone wanting a detailed account of his exploits would be very disappointed.
