I read this book about 20 years ago and it still remains in my mind as a great reading about what/which future is ahead of us.
This is a perfect pocket edition. I bought it as a gift for a young lady who travels in trains almost everyday, so I was very very pleased with its looks, touch and size. The pure clean red outskin works perfectly with the whole.
Beware it is an english version for german native speaking readers, so it includes notes in german about the book.
Next time I will be looking for a XXth century classic, I will certainly check what's in this publisher's catalogue!

This is a brilliant edition - small and easy to carry around. It is for German speakers learning English though, so there are lots of notes on translation.
As for the actual novel... I found it interesting, if a little cold. The idea that technology and a desire for happiness will lead us down a very scary path is a tad far-fetched for my tastes. However, this is considered a classic and therefore probably worth reading. I am glad I have read it and it has left me with some interesting and challenging thoughts, but I don't think it will be one I ever bother reading a second time.
