Having previously used a Braun mains/portable shaver for some 12 years I felt drawn to replace it with another.
I am sorry to relate that whilst I cannot fault the overall build quality of the product it is not very efficient at removing stubble,and the cutting head seems too small to cope with an average growth. It also "pulls" at the hairs which proves to be quite uncomfortable. I do not receive a satisfactory clean shave.
A more expensive make/model was obviously needed.

Being a satisfied Braun customer for many years, I looked forward to the arrival of my Series 1, 150 shaver. Theres something exciting about the first few shaves from a new product, the sound of the new cutters and the excellent and easy shave you get for the first few weeks for example - but perhaps thats just me! However, within a few seconds, it was clear that while the shaver appeared to be functioning correctly, it just wasnt cutting to anything like the same standard that I had come to expect from Braun. My old Braun shaver that is 5 years old and never had a foil or cutter change in fact peforms much better, and was only being replaced becuase the trimmer no longer trimmed. Surprisingly and reluctantly therefore I have to say that I do not recommend the purchase of this shaver, and also reluctantly I will now look to other suppliers for my next shaver

yes you can get a close shave eventually,but it takes 4x normal wet shave time, but I knew this before I bought

Braun shaver
