Multiple magazine systems
Braun slide projectors are compatible with a variety of magazine systems. You can, therefore, use the system which best meets your requirements. The most popular types in common use for the NOVAMAT series are the Universal magazines. These are available separately in the following combinations: 2x50 universal magazines holding a total of 100 slides in a stackable box and 6x50 magazines holding a total of 300 slides in a carrying box. In addition the NOVAMAT series also supports CS and LKM type magazines.
The PAXIMAT MULTIMAG series supports the Universal magazines, CS magazines and LKM magazines however this series additionally supports the Braun PAXIMAT circular, straight and compact magazines.
Braun began producing film slide projectors in 1954 from its base in Nuremberg Germany. It led the way in development and by 1956 Braun was marketing the first fully automatic slide projector which utilized a linear or straight tray as opposed to a carousel-type design, which allowed the projector to remain small and compact. Braun has always concentrated on quality and value for money which is synonymous with the German reputation.
