The Oral-B Pulsonic rechargeable toothbrush features a manual style brush head that has pulsating round-ended bristles to naturally clean and whiten teeth by removing surface stains. Depending on your preference, choose one of two personalisation modes--Clean or Sensitive. To ensure effective brushing, this Pulsonic toothbrush also features a two minute timer. And this Pulsonic toothbrush comes with one Pulsonic head and is compatible with all Pulsonic interchangeable heads.
Why use an electric toothbrush?
Electric toothbrushes make brushing easier, as they provide the cleaning action for you. With a manual brush, you do all the work. An electric toothbrush can move thousands of times per minute, versus a few hundred for a manual brush. Oral-B sonic toothbrushes clean teeth thoroughly and are effective at removing stains from teeth. Many Oral-B electric toothbrushes have brushing modes for deep cleaning, sensitivity care, whitening, or gum massage. Oral-B oscillating/rotating electric toothbrushes use a dentist-inspired cupping action to clean tooth by tooth. Oral-B oscillating/rotating electric toothbrushes remove more plaque and reduce gingivitis more effectively (versus a regular manual toothbrush).

I've been looking to replace my old sonix sonic toothbrush which rattled itself into pieces a few months ago when I came across this little baby and snapped it up at half price. I have sensitive teeth and have no problem using it at full blast and not on the 'sensitive' setting. After just a few days my slightly dingy teeth are noticeably cleaner. Excellent cleaning, lovely design. Really like the slim handle. Basically a great toothbrush and a really good buy!

Firstly, This will Stand up on its own on a flat surface (like in a cupboard), but is too thin to be stood on a sink or somewhere it could be knocked.
The timer is excellent, giving a short 'break' in the buzzing every 30 seconds and two 'breaks' after 2 minutes.
The brushing is very different to the spinning head brushes, it seems to require more manual work, though gives better results.
The charge lasts around 6 days. There is no way to tell when it needs charging except when it turns off 1-3 seconds after you try and turn it on.
There is also no way to tell when it's done charging, There's a light to tell you when it's getting power from the charging dock, This light could be much more usefully used.
Seems to work well with braces and removed a light bit of staining after a week or two.
Vibrating takes some getting used to and can make your gums bleed a bit at first (manual says this and a tickling feeling is normal for the first week)

only worked for four weeks!
Initially I was delighted with this product, cleaned teeth well and made them whiter. However within 4 weeks it no longer worked. So have to give it it just one star.

Dirty teeth
My teeth never feel clean using this tooth brush. My dentist gave me those chewable tablets to show where you miss when brushing and there was a lot!
