Had one of these for about 15 years but it recently suffered a fall that cracked the outer casing. Whilst it is still working we decided to get a replacement to be on the safe side.
It has coped with everything over the years, from pancake batter and cake mix to smoothies, dips and sauces, to fish cake and meatball mixes.
All our attachments are fully interchangeable between the old and new machines as Braun have wisely decided not to mess about with something that works brilliantly.
Highly recommended.

After owning an expensive kenwood food processor (with bits easily lost and expensive to replace) and the bowl cracking (even though it was dishwasher safe), I then bought a magimix processor, but was never in love with it ( soup leaked down the middle shaft on processing and it was not always easy to clean). On ebay I saw a braun food processor for sale and remembered that I had one when first married. So I decided to buy one from amazon sellers. (for a fraction of the price of the kenwood and magimix) at last I am completly satisfied, no leaking down the shaft, a bowl that feels as though it will last. I would recomend theBraun CombiMax K 700 Vital

I purchased this to replace a well used and much loved Braun food processor which eventually gave up the ghost after 25 years - switch failed. Having read reviews of a range of replacements I was concerned by how many reviewers referred to reliability, longevity (or rather lack of it!) and performance issues. I was puzzled by the lack of reviews and availablility of Braun processors (they are apparently not retailed in the UK any more) but eventaully tracked this down on Amazon. All the user reviews were very positive (apart from one user who marked it down because he didn't use it very much!) so decided to stick with what we knew and order another Braun. We are delighted we did so. It workes beautifully and is very quiet and smooth in operation. We have yet to try all it does but so far it has handled all basic food preparation with aplomb. This was shipped direct form Germany by Avides Media. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged and protected. Both product and supplier are highly recommended.
