If some kickass fashion and retail therapy help deliver those pearls of wisdom, who's going to complain?
The action centres on our favorite BFFs, Jade, Cloe, Sasha, and Yasmin, starting high school together at Carry Nation High, and navigating through the rigid clique system that seems destined to force the girls apart. Along the way, there are fireworks (created by brainy Jade in chem class), food fights, and lots of cute guys to crush on. Ruling over all: Meredith Baxter Dimly, the Baby Doc Duvalier of high-school politics, somehow managing to be student-body president for at least three years running (maybe the fact that her pop is the principal has something to do with her anointment). Meredith, played to a scheming fare-thee-well by Chelsea Staub, is a formidable villain, but our girls realize nothing can come between true friends, if they just stick together. The climactic comeuppance scene--set at Carry Nation's annual talent show--will have Bratz fans clapping on their feet.
The film's soundtrack is upbeat and catchy, and features big names like the Black Eyed Peas and Ashlee Simpson, and the two show-stoppers sung by Staub as Meredith. And that's a Bratz-wrap! --A.T. Hurley

Live action feature based on the Bratz toys and TV cartoon series. The story centres on the tween-queen best friends, Jade (Janel Parish), Cloe (Skyler Shaye), Sasha (Logan Browning) and Yasmin (Nathalia Ramos) as they start high school together at Carry Nation High. Along the way, they have to navigate their way through the rigid clique system at the centre of high school politics, which threaten to break apart their friendship. The girls, of course, realise that nothing gets between true friends, not even scheming student-body president, Meredith Baxter (Chelsea Straub). The messages are 'shop till you drop', 'fashion is a passion', 'be faithful to yourself', 'be true to your friends' and 'guys are so cute'.

I have to say that this film is in a class of its own! As a father of 3 I know that this is something that my daughters will love this Christmas and they will be finding it under the tree!
All four girls are fantastic and Meredith is just hilarious! I also think the film has such a positive message to young girls about being true to your friends that parents really should make this investment. This live-action fest really is miles away from the image that the Bratz dolls portray and will surely teach kids about bullying in a way that they can relate and understand.
I can only hope that next year Bratz 2 will be making its way down the chimney!!

Chose this film for my granddaughter to watch when she stays over. It didn,t keep me interested but did keep my granddaughter glued to the tv whilst it was playing and she enjoyed it so good result.

Brats dvd
We were half way through this film and the dvd stopped working. I don't know what is wrong with it but it just froze and wouldn't let us watch the rest

present for grand-daughter
This was a gift for my 5 yr old grand-daughter. She seems to be well pleased so what else can you say. I am seventy so it is hardly my thing.
