I can only echo what another reviewer has said, in a straight fight between Heinz and Branston it has to be Branston. Heinz has always been the benchmark for baked beans but comparing them against Branston I realised that they are actually relatively sweet. I also like the fact that the Branston beans taste a little more savoury - more tomatoe-y - a bit more depth in flavour. The sauce is richer - a tad thicker - and you really do feel there is something of substance here. It is the only brand of baked beans that I buy nowadays (I bought by first can earlier this year). If you do give Branston a go, I guarantee that you too will be pleasantly surprised!

My entire life, whenever I've had baked beans it's been Heinz. In my late 30s I was bought a tin of Branston as it was on offer and I've never looked back. The sauce is much nicer. I've not received this offer from Amazon yet, but I wanted to 'big up' Branston beans and this offer is a great price (almost half of the RRP in the supermarkets).

I ordered these and have to say the price is absolutely amazing. It worked out at about 32p per tin for a top quality product. Being a heavy item it is also excellent having it delivered. The only minor downside is that these tins did not have a ring pull for easy opening (although to be fair they were never described as having this). However the inconvenience of using a tin opener for about 10 seconds compared to a ring pull is well worth the fantastic price.
