I ordered two of these Spanish-made 1.0 litre water jugs and they were delivered quickly and perfectly packed. The capacity is what we needed, especially in a hot summer, but the thickness of the glass makes the empty weight excessive in my view - ca. 900 gms or 2 lb. Even empty this is quite substantial and not what was expected. When the jug is almost full it weighs about 4 lb, too much for ease of use. It would be useful if vendors of this kind of ware indicated the weight as well as the dimensions and capacity.
