When my mother received the item in the post. Not only was the packaging damaged, the part of the laptray where the batteries are inserted was also damaged. I wanted to return it for a replacement or refund at that point but my Mother needed it badly at the time and decided to keep it. 48hrs later the light completely stopped working and eventually came away in her hands. And I can assure you she did not apply a lot of pressure as her hands have nearly completely seized up with arthritis. So it has since been thrown in the bin and I've managed to track down a more reliable, better quality item at our local Homebase.

This burst at the seams after a few days use, polystyrene balls everywhere! It's like chasing mercury, I see more each day that I missed with the vacuum.
I was really disappointed as I loved it from the moment it arrived to the second the seams burst. It wasn't down to weight, I use a 10.1 netbook.

This was bought for my husband. I thought it would have had a bit more room for our 15" laptop but it just does the job.

Was given as a present to somebody with an overheating probem to her laptop, due to it being operated on a bed. This cured the problem, and was very well received.
