i like shari low's style of writing she's witty and funny and her books are an easy read and this one didn't disappoint

I was slightly disappointed. It didn't hold my attention as much as I expected it to. The first few chapters, my mind kept drifting, but it is enjoyable. But maybe a bit bland.
Leni, makes a new years resolution - to reinvent herself, change everything that is wrong with her life. As we all do each year. Her friends fall about laughing as she does this every year. She finds herself a new job, working for a mad astrologer, and has the weirdest task given to her, to date a man for each of the zodiac signs. This book is relatively funny, going through each of the mainly disasterous dates that her rather strange employer gives her.
I am giving it 4 stars still even though it didn't hold my attention and I wouldn't put it down as her best book at all, as I think maybe it was just not my type of book as everyone else seemed to enjoy it??

Shari Low does it again! As Leni, an ordinary girl trying to jazz up her life, stumbles through 12 dates ranging from the crigeworthy to laugh out loud ridiculous you are right there with her, through all her high's lows, stresses and hysterics. A fabulous read with characters easy to identify with and a hilarious plot that keeps you engaged to the end. Am off to paint the bottom of my New Look shoes now - great tip!!
