I loved this bear the moment i saw it! The first time my daughter heard me run the beaters over the xylophone she beamed - she loved it straight away. The music is very pleasing to the ears and, being a toy, the quality of the music seems very good (although i stand to be corrected as i am not a musical person at all).
It is sturdy and the pieces won't come off. She also likes putting the wooden knob on the beaters in her mouth - they still hold on to their place.
When we bought the toy we were told that, while previously the toy was rated 3yrs+, they have now obtained the 1+ rating, which means that it can be used safely by children aged 1 and over.
I love wooden toys, so i don't regret having bought this one!

this is really good - seems robust too. my son loves it!
the only thing is that the little batonettes to play with are of a size that fits his little mouth - if your child still puts things in his mouth. mr luke likes to put them in his mouth and walk around. dangerous.... so he only plays under supervision for the time being - and his little sister is not allowed yet.

Good, sturdy toy xylophone. Grandson is enjoying bashing it immensely, he might even be able to get a tune out of it soon, his Mom has.
